Businesses in Puerto Banús are gearing up for the influx of tourists that is heralded by the start of spring.

The College of Registrars reported a 6.6% rise in prices across Spain, with the Ministry of Public Works quoting a 9.8% increase in sales and 20% more mortgages granted in 2015 compared to the previous year. Independent predictions from the EU have forecast a 6% rise in Spanish property prices by the end of 2016.
This is all combining with positive economic data showing falling unemployment and rising Gross Domestic Product to produce a ‘feel good factor’ both for Spain as a whole and particularly for hotspots such as Marbella.
